To secure one of the 270 odd seats, you should have the fundamentals of Maths and English on your fingertips and be aware of current affairs. Quantitative techniques in the paper cover statistics, arithmetic, algebra and geometry. In addition to these, candidates need to know about national and international news especially on business and economics. There will be simple questions (objective type). They will be short, for example questions on profit and loss, so that students can do them verbally. English section may include questions on synonyms, antonyms, proverbs and a comprehension passage. Following the test, the Department of Business Economics at South Campus will rank students in order of merit. Each college will then bring out its own list depending upon the number of students they require. Students can accordingly make their choice.
