In fire insurance, insurance is obtained by owners of homes and commercial properties to provide reimbursement in case of losses resulting from fire. In health insurance, insurance meets the costs of sickness and disability; it pays for physicians, hospitals, and other providers of medical services. In life insurance, insurance involves the assumption by an insuring organisation of the risk of death of a policyholder. Insurance agents draw up a contract with a client based on the premium. Insurance surveyors, in the event of loss or damage to any insured item, are assigned the responsibility of investigating, evaluating and assessing the extent of loss or damage. Actuarial science is yet another area that would be booming in the times to come.
